My prediction will be when CC brings that tough schedule, faster team, more balanced team, the team with more tradition from an area that has better football, the slow one dimensional Eagles will take this one and move on.
This post alone makes me hope Cov Cath comes home with a HUGE win! :irked:

This will be real fun next week if JC and Highlands play...:D

Here it is, Friday with snow on the ground lol. All the Cov. Cath fans have a safe and enjoyable trip to "Johnsonville" and we anticipate your arrival. May both teams remain injury free.
Are you guys going to have all the "Welcome to Johnsonville" signs up again this year? That was a priceless moment in KY football lore -- wish I could've seen it.

At least we'll definitely know where the field is.

The team I feel the most sorry for in all of this is Paintsville H.S.

Not only are they not getting any attention, but their name no longer has relevance since Johnsonville is the more commonly known name of the town. If JC keeps making deep runs the Chamber of Commerce may need to formally change names to cash in on the publicity.

That might not be a bad idea. ;) But it would really mess up the US Postal Service, since there's already one Johnsonville, KY.

The real Johnsonville is down the Mountain Parkway. I've been there and back.

I know it's getting close to when many of you are going to be leaving so have a safe trip Colonel fans. I know the majority of us here in the Fort will be pulling for you to bring home a winner to save us a 3 hour trip. :D;)

Good luck and may both teams come out of this injury free.

I agree on all counts. But in all honesty, we want the Colonels to win (mainly) because it's important for our NKY teams to support one another -- as we always have -- come playoff time. :thumb:

Speak for yourself...

Should Central win this week and Highlands come to the hills next weekend, there'll be a few Paintsville fans on the hill with bonfire lit and fireworks in hand yet again ready to celebrate each Bluebird touchdown, just like there were for the CCH game two years ago. It's always good to enjoy the support of our fellow Johnson Countians in the big games like that.

Remember everytime you get mad at this... you're in the bleachers watching your team play a meaningful game, the are on the hill just trying to find something to do to pass their boredom from another team exiting before the 3rd Round. :sssh:

You should support all the local teams. That is, until you have to play 'em.
