W'burg a really hard place to win at, but IMO, LCA will take care of business to the tune of 42 to 21.

I tihnk that is a pretty good prediction. The fact that Williamsburg played Frankfort so tough tells me they do have some chance to pull off an upset. I think they will need to score 40 points+ to get the upset win over LCA.

If Williamsburg has done nothing but get better since the Week 1 meeting with Frankfort, I would think they have a good shot at winning this game. They are a solid team.

 

That being said, no particular logic ot back it up, I think LCA wins in a close one.

Wburg will be an underdog. I think the teams are very evenly matched but D.Hyden the runningback\LB is the difference.

Guys this one is going to be incredible Williamsburg I believe this is the year they get over the hump. LCA is incredible but the last couple games LCA has played absolute nobodies. Williamsburg is very explosive. Honestly the final score WBURG 48 LCA 44.

 

Where do Y'all keep getting Hazard is nobody? They have been ranked above Williamsburg all year and LCA destroyed them.

 

-I don't think the Williamsburg D can hold LCA to under 40. They my slow them a little early, but when LCA starts to unroll on the Jackets the D will give up points. Too many Eagles weapons to stop. It looks like there are 20 of them on the field at times....

 

-Again, seen them both and there is a HUGE difference in what each team does on Offense. W'burg scored 28 on us. Hazard scored 27.

 

LCA scored 62.

 

We had 1 turn over.

 

-Lynn Camp had one of the softer defenses they have had in years and Williamsburg only scored 28 on us. If that was explosive, it is not near enough to take out LCA.

 

-LCA has found it's groove on D.

 

-Hazard has as good an offense as Williamsburg and LCA handled it and then some. I can't see the Jackets doing what Hazard could not do.

 

-We as fans can get arrogant about our teams, but if the Jackets players go into this game overconfident and thinking the Eagles will lay down, it can be a L-O-N-G night. Trust me. We're still feeling the beat down!

 

-Again, I am just basing this on the games I have seen with my own eyes. This will not be a tight game in the end, IMO.

Watching wburg play several times and Hazard on film a few...I think Wburg is better.

A wise man once said you cant base games on "commen opponents" or scores from other games because teams match up differently.

I personally think Wburg matches up with LCA very well. If Wburg wins they will have to win the TO battle and make 1 or 2 big special teams plays.

They don't matchup well. Not even using common opponents now. I've seen both play and LCA is at least 5 athletes better. Not downing W'burg, just telling you what I saw. This is one of the best Class a teams I have ever saw play the game.

We had 1 TO on the night. What they can do cannot even be seen effectively on film.

I do not think W'burg's D can stop what they can do. I guess we'll see. That's why they play the game.
