November 9, 200817 yr I got mine, not the biggest I've ever gotten, an 8pt but it did field dress at 195 lbs, and my nephew who is 8 shot a 10 point this morning, I'll put up some pics later!
November 9, 200817 yr I've got to put a post in here. My oldest son(soph at MSU) went hunting yesterday morning and didn't get anything. We came home today from an Eagle Ceremony(both sons are Eagles) and there was a 7 point buck standing on our hillside - we yelled at our son - he was indispose(bathroom) - and he came out grabbed his gun and shot it with his pants falling down. The first thing he wanted to do was to call his older brother and let him know that he had shot a buck.
November 10, 200817 yr I plan on gettin mine within this week. I took a week of Vacation! Wife isnt happy about it (she isnt on vacation) but I sure am!!

November 10, 200817 yr Nothing but little 'uns and slick heads where I was hunting. I know there is a big buck out there just waiting his chance to get inside my crosshairs. :thumb: I'm going back out on Tuesday if all goes according to Hoyle.

November 10, 200817 yr All slickheads for my crew. 5 for 5. My midget dropped his in her tracks at 157yds on the dot. I'm telling you what, that 7mm08 is a bad mamajama. We'll soon have enough jerkey to last through turkey season.:thumb:
November 11, 200817 yr Killed a deer saturday at 8:15. I have not seen any bucks chasing or running does.
November 11, 200817 yr Haven't had a chance to get out yet but plan on going sometime within the next few weeks. My Cousin owns 35 acres about 3 miles down past downtown Burlington where the court house is.
