I am excited about an Obama Presidency in the regards of how it can move the race relations along inside this country. I think this can really be a positive to finally put to bed the notion that USofA is a racist country. I thought it was touching to see Jesse Jackson crying in the stands. (I voted for Jesse in the primary in 1984)

 

It was interesting this morning that Obama received a higher % of the vote of the white citizens since Carter. (He tied with Clinton from 1996)

I'll let God judge me well before I let a BGP member decide my fate. That's not an excuse, brother, that's a fact. What would I need an excuse for? I understand what the difference between pro-choice and pro-abortion, you don't. It's as simple as that.

I'm not disagreeing persay, only that it is setting a double standard. I'm not sure how theses countries are honestly feeling. These countries should be celebrating because of the damage that has been done by Cheney and his henchmen, however, McCain would not be honored with a National Holiday in Kenya if he had won and he would've brought some form of change also. Like I said it is quirky and makes me feel less and less good about the election.

I fear that even those of us who are pro-life will be held accountable for this nation allowing babies to be aborted in this country.

I see your point but being that Obama has personal ties to Kenya I don't really see it as a double standard. Kind of like how we didn't see hundreds of thousands of people joining together in Chicago to celebrate McCain.

Has nothing to do with politics to me. Calling your OPINION the truth does not make it so.

Pro-choice means nothing more than that you support a woman's right to murder her baby. You can dress it up all you want but that it what it means. And if you don't think that if will be an unfavorable position come judgement day than God help you.
