I was trying to get at that. Strange if you ask me.

I campaigned for Lunsford a little bit, did some calling. But to be honest, I don't think I'm going to vote for him.

But isn't a vote for a third party like a vote for Obama?

It is if you are a conservative.

Seems hypocritical to me, to convince others to vote for one person while you are voting for someone else.

I looked at it realistically. Most people are voting for either Obama or McCain, no matter how much someone tries to convince them otherwise. If that's the case, wouldn't I want to try to sway those people to vote for the one that is most alligned with what I believe?

He can verify this but I believe he is saying Barr is more aligned to what he believes in but he's not going to be able to convince many to vote for a 3rd party candidate. So why not support the major candidate who is closer to his beliefs.

I've made a lot of phone calls for the McCain/Palin campaign.
