4A Boyd travels to 1A Fairview in the final week of the regular season. Who gets the nod?

I like Boyd 22-14

I look for a Fairview win in this one. Fairview is just playing very well and just had a decisive victory over Boyd County's district mate - Rowan County. Fairview by 21.

I think Fairview gets it done against the 4A team.

Mod, can we get a poll added?

Depends which team shows up to play for Boyd. Hopefully Boyd by 7.

The Fairview QB is a very good athlete and has proven he can be a game changer. The Eagles are coming off an impressive win and I think they win this one.

I'm going to go with Fairview as well. 35-28.

I have to go with Boyd County on this one. No doubt Fairview is far better coached, but they don't have anyone to put on Zac. Boyd is alot bigger, stronger, and faster than the Eagles. It should be a good first half, but I think Boyd takes over after that.

Do you really think so? Didnt Fairview's staff coach under Evans?

Coach McPeek was at Boyd for a few seasons, but no other members of the Fairview staff coached with Evans. I think Boyd County has a great coaching staff, and while young I think Fairview does as well. Other than Coach Vanderhoof at Raceland I think Coach McPeek is deserving of area coach of the year. For them to be 7-2 at this point is a great accomplishment.

Boyd in a close one 22-21.

From what I hear, Boyd's QB isnt too bad himself.

I like Fairview in this one. I think it will be close, but I expect the Eagles to pull it out by a TD.
