Who wins and why? Could a mod put a poll up?

I think it will be a good game, but in the end, I think B'Wood has too much. I'm very anxious to see the HHS dominant running back against the dominant Tiger defense. I hear he is an absolute load, but the B'Wood line & LB's are also quite a load.

 

One big concern I have is that B'Wood hasn't had a game within 3 touchdowns and the 1's have not played much in the second halves...so I'm not sure how they will react in a tight game. I guess we'll see next week.

Gotta go with the Birds in this one. This will be a preview of great match ups to come in the future between these two programs.

From what I have seen, I have to agree

I havnt seen beechwood so its hard to say but if the birds are healthy, meaning ringwald is back then I take them at home.

This has the potential to be a good game. Beechwood likes to throw a lot. Highlands has a big safety with 6 or 7 picks on the year. His height will present some problems for the Beechwood passing game. If Beechwood stops the Highlands running game the Birds might be in trouble. Though they have an exceptional receiver in Sheehan, it has been the running game and some sensational defensive efforts of some,(Sheehan included) that have led to the Birds success. If Highlands played their best in the right spots this could be a blowout on Thursday. Oh by the way Rouse is a player. He needs to be in the backfield a lot more. Rouse will be a premier back at the varsity level no doubt. With the exception of True he's clearly the most explosive runner the Birds have. And while you're putting Rouse in the backfield I might advise giving your 6'2 safety with 7 picks a chance to catch the ball on offense. Beechwood has a storied program and is a class act all the way around. It will be fun to watch these two football factories go after each other on Thursday. May there be no injuries and may the best team win.

Really looking forward to seeing this one. On paper it appears Beechwood has the edge. Luckily, Highland's field isn't made of paper. Go Birds!
