The field stripes were a bit much :eek:, but the jerseys are cool. Very, very nice gesture by the good folks at Perry Central.

 

By the way, do they play at M.C. Napier? I'm a little surprised they don't have a newer football field.

This is awesome! Fantastic idea and a real class act. Does anyone know approximately how much money was raised? I would love to see this trend pickup throughout the state next season.

Did they get someone to donate the jerseys or did the administration buy the jerseys for them?

Remember boys, real men wear pink, not black. I think it's an awesome idea, too many women have passed away from breast cancer.

Great pictures. This was definetly a great gesture by PCC. I'll find myself rooting for them in any game they play now.

I am a part of this football team. Just think if every football school in the state of Kentucky would do something like this. What I understand that PCC give a dollar for everybody came thru the gate on Friday.

 

Does anybody know how many people goes to a football game on a Friday night in the month of OCT? I don't I would say it is alot. Now what if everybody give a dollar Like PCC did just think the good it would do. PCC got the jersey played for.each player had to go out and get a sponsor for the jersey the money they got went to cancer. I think each player was to get 150.00.

 

Who ever give the money got the jersey and you could put who every name on it. Most people put the name of a person that had cancer. And that money went to cancer. Did I say anything about the pink football? The football was pink when every they kicked they took it out of the game and was sold to the highest bidder. Great job PCC
