Greenup is coming off a shut out of Lawrence County and Lewis is coming off a shut out loss. Any thoughts?

 

P.S. I heard through a GC cheerleader that this game might move to Lloyd instead of Vanceburg. Is this true?

 

I dont think this is true. This will be senior nite for Lewis Co. The last game is at Bracken Co.

What is the problem with Lewis Co. this year? I watched L.C.'s 6th grade team Saturday, it looks like they have some talent coming. How is the rest of the middle school?

The Muskies should win this one, and it's about time they put a couple of wins together. They have played hard this year and deserve it.

I can't see Lewis County being able to handle the Musketeers.

So far 19 points has been the high offensive out put for Greenup County , they should top that this week & keep it rolling with two victories in a row & possibly two shutouts in a row as well. Good luck to both squads.

I think after last week it was obvious that GC needs to get the ball in his hands as much as possible.

Lyle is a good player but to say that they need to get him the ball as much as possible has been the problem with this team all year. It seems we find ONE player and work them to death and the other teams know who the ball is going to, I say use all the talent that the team has not just one player.

Spread the wealth.... Use all the talent, a good run game makes a good passing game, a good passing game opens the run up and defense wins ball games, period.

I honestly don't think Coupon21 was trying to say anything more than Lyle was not getting the ball much at all. I took it that Coup was implying that for GC's offense to do anything, they need to open up the passing game by running Lyle more. How many touches did he have prior to the Lawrence Co. game? If you use him as a feature back, I promise you, someone will be open off play action.
