  1. West dominated on both sides of the ball. A special congradulations to Jake Bolander from Lewis County, he represented his school very well. Jake started and played both ways on the offensive and defensive line. Jeremy Thompson from Mason County had a great game running the ball and was named offensive MVP for the West team.
  2. Several Lewis County fans will be attending. Keep playing hard Jake.
  3. Who makes the lineup? Who leaves the starting pitcher in for 4 innings and 6 runs? Who made the same mistakes last year vs Russell? Who should be there to pick these kids up when they make errors, strikeouts, etc... not scream at them before each inning. You have to have the respect from your players and the baseball knowledge to teach and instruct them. Anything but a typical fan.
  4. You cant. This team should have been ready, they are much better than what they played. You never new which team was going to show up. The change Lewis needs is a coach, which is the opinion of the majority within the county.
  5. Congrats to Raceland. Lewis County did not come to play. They really need a change in the worse way.
  6. Lewis Co. picks up big win. Vaughn pitched complete game helping the Lions reach their 16th win.
  7. Lewis County--- Jake Bolander, Kentucky Christian University:thumb:
  8. Final from Vanceburg. Vaughn pitched 6 innings and Kilgore closed in the 7th. Bolander 2-3 2 run homer in the third (2). Frerichs made some great plays at short. Good win for the lions.
  9. Not all coaches have the ability to teach the players, let alone the ability to instruct. They should be able to help their players improve and progress.
  10. Final from Vanceburg. Lewis bounces back after error filled game vs Ashland. Bolander pitched 5 innings, Vaughn came in to close. Nice outing for the lions.
  11. I believe it may have been 8, 6 of them being throwing errors. By far their worse outing in a couple years.
  12. Wild weather at Lewis Co. Lions score early and hold off the comets with their only run in the 7th. Kilgore, Vaughn, and Calvert pitched for the lions
  13. Jake Bolander signed his commitment letter to play at Kentucky Christian University today. After four very successful years at Lewis Co. he will continue his gridiron play for coach Moore and his Knights. Jake is a very talented and gifted athlete, a great kid on and off the field. Congradulations on this accomplishment and wish him only the best.
  14. After 3 rain outs Lewis Co wins their home opener. Bolander pitched a complete game with 9 ks. along with a 3 run homer in the first. Witten 3-4. 2 doubles, Cooper 3-4 . Lions look good with one error. Solid team, very capable of some upsets...
