Trick or treat was moved to tonight in the area to accomidate the football games, so this weeks meal was cancelled. Sidelinedoc has a small child that wanted to trick or treat, she has no heart for the program yet, but we will fix that before next season.

 

The boys are getting to fat anyway, they needed the week off.

Since we think we should move the game to accomodate everyone else, I have things to do on Saturday. They should play the game on Sunday. Nope, can't do that, I have farm work to do on Sunday. Move the game to Monday.

 

Sorry, little bit different when your talking a couple thousand kids maybe? I think maybe someone could have looked at the date when the schedule came out and thought it out a little better.

After a few years and a couple hundred bucks later, you may want to move back to Grand Ave.:lol::lol:

 

I like the idea of trick or treating on the way to the game. Heck, I may do that. I needed something to take to the tailgate anyway.

 

WOW. That reminds of a time many years ago. I was in the 6th grade and our AllStar Game was on Halloween. I remember walking from the house in the south end to HHS. On the way I stopped by a few homes for a treat. I got my trick or treat in and then got to play at David Cecil Memorial Stadium for the first time in my life. Oh the memories............... Now, back to the game.:thumb:

If you think a couple of thousand kids normally attend a Highlands game and will be forced to choose between trick or treating vs going to the game, I want some of what you are drinking.

Those statistics are pretty mind-boggling. I really didn't think our boys would be this dominate this year. I knew they would win some ballgames, but putting up those stats for the year is pretty impressive. Way to go boys, keep it up. Don't get caught snoozing, if you'll remember, we almost did last year by Louisville Central.

I don't have a problem with it. Heck, over the years I've probably handed out more candy to the kids from Dayton and Newport than the Fort Thomas kids. I enjoy sitting out front and watching the kids , but I'm glad to take a break this year, save a few bucks and watch my Bluebirds play football. :banana:

 

I really don't think any kid is going to miss the Air Heads extreme this year. There will be plenty of people in town that don't go to the games to dish out plenty of candy for all the ghost and gobblins from The Fort and beyond.:fire:
