Sounds like the Neers have thing rolling in the right direction up in Irvine. Good win for them and coach jones.

Congrats to the Engineers!

368 yards rushing for the Engineers. Harlan has really improved over the last couple of weeks.

Dang looks like all the fans in Harlan Co. have quickly exited the train. Many posters on here tried to warn them they were not going to build a powerhouse over night. HC will be a 3 seed going to were in the playoffs??

I think the rain was the only thing that kept the bears fans off the train in this game. The Bears had several chances to win this game. They played really good on "D" in the second have holding Estill to one score. I think Harlan Co. let them score that time to try and get the ball back. Congrats to Estill Co. 44 and 26 are a load.

Noone has left the Bear's train, and our boys are improving with every game they play. We have an awesome coach and coaching staff, and a bunch of boys with the fire to only keep improving....better look out for Harlan Co. in the weeks to come.

Congrats to Estill Co.

Dang rain!!!

I am VERY proud of our Bears and will continue to be. Keep your heads up Bears and Bear Nation. We are moving on from last night and learning from it. Let's focus on next Friday's game and travel to Grayson Co., Virginia Bear Nation.:banana::banana:

Dang rain!!!

That is part of the game BlacBearDenMother I believe you all had a 400 yard rusher the week before should have helped last night. Good Luck rest of the year. Look forward to seeing you all play Bell Co next season.

You couldn't be further from the truth Leon. Nobody thought we would build a "powerhouse overnight". Our season is not over yet and our team improves every game. 5-3 so far. I think for our first year being consolidated that we are doing just fine. We've still got some football to be played. Don't count the Bears out just yet! Do I wish we'd won every game? Sure! But most teams aren't undefeated at this point in the season.;)

Make no mistake about it though, Coach Larkey IS in the process of building a powerhouse program!

You don't say....yes, I know rain is part of the game. It's just a TAD BIT disapppointing that with us only having 3 home games anyways, and 2 of them being VERY important district games, against 2 of the best teams out of the district, it has practically monsooned (is that a word) during both of them. And, yes, we did have a 400+ yard rusher last week against M'boro, and again, the stinkin rain slows backs like him down. So, yes I'm a hair peeved about the rain!!! Not, taking anything away from Estill Co.; they played a very tough game, props to them, I just think it would have went our way if it hadn't poured buckets all night long.

P.S. We can't wait to play Bell next year either....don't think we aren't...so bring it on. :ylsuper:

Bell is always ready in case you didn't know can't wait for the rivalry to start but it will have to wait next year. Bell has bigger fish to fry right now. Good luck and see you next season.:thumb:
