I have never seen so many people celebrate a young man (with a promising future) getting his jaw broke. That's why Bengal fans are upset, and it just HAD to be the Steelers to do it. Just like with Palmer. Clean/Dirty/legal/illegal-who cares? The team/squad are vulnerable, and losing their first round pick (probably one of two good picks the team has made the last decade) getting his jaw broke, then getting blown out, then falling to 0-7 is hard to take.

 

It's even harder to take when the guy gets up and does an uncoordinated dance like he ALWAYS does. I ain't gonna lie, I can't wait until the day I see him get it...legal and not dirty of course.

I'm a Steelers fan and I would still say it was a good block if that was Polomalu with his jaw broken. This is tackle football and that's part of the game. Everyone on that field has a "kill or be killed" attitude - or at least they should.

Hey, I admitted I don't like Hines Ward. That just made it that much worse. I can also admit that I'm being a sore loser... What do you expect. We, in the village, have nothing better to complain or talk about.

That hit is indicative of the difference of the Steelers and the Bengals.

 

Bengals had more players willing to do their job like Ward does and not just look for attention for himself and less players like Johnson who won't throw a block to spring a teammate and the Bengals would win like the Steelers do.
