Well, we couldn't do it last night due to JFL homecoming parade, but we will again next week. Cathy has fixed baked spaghetti, garlic/cheese biscuits and Butterfinger cake. Greenup Co. week we had Texas Roadhouse ribs, chicken, rolls, salad and baked potatoes and Cathy fixed hot fudge cake. The boys are partial to spaghetti and Butterfinger cake. Coach Maynard preferred the hot fudge cake. We are having a blast doing it. Maybe we have started a new tradition for the Senior boys.

WHAT ! No RC Cola and Moon pies ? What is this world coming to ? HAHAHA

 

Good for you guys ,I am sure the boys really enjoy it .It should be something they always remember.Hopefully they carry on the tradition.

1 angel food cake

2 cups confectionery sugar

4 egg yolks

2 bars of philadelphia cream cheese

6 crushed Butterfinger bars

 

Mix in a bowl, the eggs, sugar, egg yolks and cream cheese.

 

tear up 1/2 of the cake into pieces in an 11 x 15 dish and pour 1/2 of the mixture on the pieces. Sprinkle 3 of the candy bars onto this and then repeat layers with the remaining ingredients. Refridgerate.

 

***For best results, sit overnight in the fridge.

My wife is one of those taste and add kind of cooks. I can't tell you what's in her sauce, but that is what makes her spaghetti so good.

 

We buy the cheese/garlic biscuits at Golden Corral. They're as good as the ones at Red Lobster!

Quick question: Do you have to sit in there ALL night; and do you have to have the cake in there with you?

 

 

 

 

 

 

It gets kinda cold but my wife and I sat in there ALL night. And to us husbands thats what... about 6 minutes?!:banana:
