October 12, 200817 yr Hmmm I wonder what some of the fans are thinking now who was saying earlier in the year, that Palmer need to be bench for Fitzpatrick... Without Palmer this is just a bad offensive football team. Its a shame that the offensive has been off this year, because the defense is actually kind of decent this year.

October 12, 200817 yr I listen to the Bengals broadcast during the game, and on more than a few occasions, Lapham said the offense "sucks". I got a good laugh out of that one, I think it's worse than sucking. They are hard to watch but when Palmers not out there, it's even more brutal. Looks like they are in the drivers seat for pick number one.
October 12, 200817 yr It's a bad offensive football when Palmer has been in there too. Not completely true. The last two games that Palmer has played the offense actually had started to look like it was starting to get back to normal. Against the Giants it showed signs, and Palmer led the team right down the field twice at the end to give them chances to win. Then against Cowboys the offense started to show signs of life, and the defense couldn't make the stop at the end of the game. So yeah even with Palmer it hadn't been going at its best, however the last two games he has played. The offense had started to come around again.
October 12, 200817 yr There's a shirt out there that says, "Go Bengals" on the front....On the back it says, "And take the Reds with you." I really want one.

October 12, 200817 yr Why would you want to take the Reds with you. They have a better future than the Bengals. How do you know that??
October 12, 200817 yr ^ Their owner probably doesn't have to consult directions each morning on how to breathe, for starters.
October 12, 200817 yr Speculation is just great. You can think what ever you want about the future, as do I. However you don't know whats going to happen. This city was pretty hopped up after 05 about the Bengals and their seeming rise to the top. Didn't exactly pan out did it? No one knows the Reds are going to be better than the Bengals in the future. As a matter of FACT ( I know you guys don't always like these:sssh:) The Bengals have been more successful than the Reds in the past 5 years. So I like the T shirt it makes total sense.
