October 14, 200818 yr Author Money league I finally got a W since Brady got injured. 2-4 now. I don't even update my other team now, which is 0-6.
October 14, 200818 yr After limping out to an 0-4 start in my main league, I have since won the last two games in nail-biter fashion after getting late points on MNF. I'm 4-2 in my other league, in sole possession of second place.
October 14, 200818 yr 1-5. Me too... The sad thing was that once again, for the second time in three weeks, I was the second highest scoring team in the league and lost. I've scored the third most points in my league and I'm tied for dead last at 1-5. What can you do? If my team keeps playing well, I'm still confident that I'll start winning and that I can make the top 6 and get in the playoffs. I feel pretty good that a 5-2 finish will get me in the playoffs and I also feel good about my team's chances to do that. As unlucky as I've been, if I win this week and the projections hold I'll only be one game behind 4 guys. My team has been scoring well, I've just been unlucky. If my guys keep producing, I'm still confident they'll string together some wins. It just sucks, because I should at least be 2-4, if not 3-3 and in solid position instead of scrambling to catch up and make the playoffs. Question: Steven Jackson (vs. Dallas), Chris Johnson (@ KC), Steve Slaton (vs. Detroit) Which two guys do I start? I really hate to bench Steven Jackson against anybody, but Johnson and Slaton have nice matchups. I'm definitely starting Chris Johnson. I'm 50/50 on Jackson or Slaton right now.
