I agree it was terrible blocking, but a good leap from the LOS without the penetration still gets that XP.

No team in the SEC will make it through conference play without at least one loss.

 

With that said, a brutal loss for Florida and a game they have no business losing.

 

This and the USC game just further prove that tOSU is destined to get back into the title hunt. :lol:

Just saw a graphic on CBS about how Ole Miss has beaten Florida 3 out of their last 4 meetings, and just lost by 3 last season. It's really incredible when you think about the expectations of each program.

College football is pretty exciting anymore. You just never know who is gonna win. Houston Nutt is a pretty darn good football coach.

 

I heard Nutt speak at a clinic years back when he was at Murray(or one of those little OVC schools) and I was impressed with him then. I have kinda followed his career since and I agree with you. He is a heckuva college football coach.

I thought UF was going to utilize the jump pass on 4th and one. That play call would have worked. I loved watching the Gators go down and I called it in the poll about who would win the national title I put that it wouldn't be Florida. There D isn't good enough after they lost Harvey and Joiner from last year. Also I don't think their fans realized how much they would miss Caldwell (who graduated) and Ingram (who is injured). I mean why were their WR's getting so much type besides Harvin. Louis Murphy? Aaron Hernandez? give me a break!

And why in the world is Meyer whining about the refs? The blocked extra point was not leaping. And finally it was funny how they measured on the games final play. They were a yard short.

What a dumb play call on 4th and 1. Why put him in the shotgun rather than under center?

 

I don't fault them for running Tebow, but I think I might have spread the defense out more. Give Tebow a chance to run against less traffic, because he almost alway goes forward. With everything bunched up like it was, there were just too many bodies piled up for him to push forward...his own lineman hit him and hurt his momentum.
