You're right, I just haven't seen Tebow run from under center that much. Most of his "sneaks" are from the shotgun.

They said that Tebow has never won a game that they were trailing in the 2nd half....That's pretty bad IMO.

I don't disagree. But the bottom line is his confidence was already shaken from the XP block (which was such a low kick a midget could've gotten it), and he would be trying a GW FG from 8 yards longer than his longest make. Little chance he hits the FG try.

 

Meyer was right to go for it; he just picked the wrong play. Heck, run the option there.

I don't have trouble with the play, that formation and play call had worked short yardage all day. I have trouble they ran it right at Hardy (#86) who had been whipping their butt all day.

The kicker was going to have to kick it straight up in the air and then hope for a gust of wind to avoid #40 who was right in his face on the XP.

College football is pretty exciting anymore. You just never know who is gonna win. Houston Nutt is a pretty darn good football coach.

Isn't that what you're doing with an XP anyway -- kicking it straight up in the air? No. 40 nearly blocked it with his chest. It was a terribly low kick.
