No crease, I'm not sure how replay work in MLB, but I don't think there was irrefutable evidence either way,... EXCEPT that like they said, their was no crease in the yellow. Which leads me to believe it didn't hit the yellow.

 

I dunno about the yellow but i did see a crease in the padding.

From the replays that I seen the seats don't even move, and if the ball would have in fact hit the seats then the sit would have shook in some way.

The seat didn't move? Is that seriously your argument? The ball hit the top of the wall, went behind the wall hit a seat, and changed directions. Heck seats don't even move when I sit in them. :lol: Did you watch the guys reaction in the stands? That right there was another convincing piece of evidence for me. What do you think made the ball change directions?

 

The fans were standing in the front row, if the ball were to hit the padding or even come close there would be fans to back up, maybe he couldn't judge the ball and backed up in case.

Clearly these seats need some sort of seismic detection equipment on them. And they shouldn't sell chili dogs within atleast four rows of that area.

That's when he start going back, but the ball then hit the seat, and bounced back into play. You still haven't answered as to what you think made the ball change directions all of a sudden?

I think it's rediculous that the feed has to be sent to MLB for review, first they complain about the length of games, then they ship of video to NYC for a play that happened in Houston. The initial replay looked to have hit the padding, but I don't see how the ball could bounce that far if it his a soft object.

We thought it hit the seats. I didn't see any creasing, even in slow-mo. If it hit the padding, I don't understand the change in direction?

 

I also agree that the ruling took a long time.

 

I particularly enjoyed the cowering fans who also happened to be wearing gloves. Why bother dragging it all the way there?
