The initial replay looked to have hit the padding, but I don't see how the ball could bounce that far if it his a soft object. Seriously, would expect any less of a goofy setup for MLB? September 24, 200817 yr On the Reds website you can watch the replay and from the side angle it does not look like it goes past the padding. And just like in the NFL if they call it one thing, unless there is irrefutable evidence otherwise, then you can't change the call.
