That goes both ways. I believe that LCA has only been behind on the scoreboard for a few minutes of one game. What worries me is how they will react if they get a couple of scores behind against a great team like Raceland. Will the kids panic? I don't think so, but we just don't know yet.

 

I think the players on both teams have enough experience and playing time not to panic if they get behind. Both teams will just have to stay with what works. I think us fans may be the ones to get nervous.

Don't know much about either team, other than the are both ranked in the top 5 in Class 1A....So I expect a big game in this one.

 

I am going to go with LCA, I saw these guys play last year in the state final and I haven't seen Raceland play.

I can tell you this...if you "just" focus on Hayden...Whitt will kill you. He had a 50yd run called back against Lloyd. LCA is not a one dimensional offense. LCA will put points on the board Friday night...the real answer might be the first one to 40 wins...

They focused their offense around Hayden, which is a great game-plan, but if a team can shut him down, LCA won't be able to win. It's very very simple, stop Hayden and you will win! :thumb:

 

They ran the ball for almost 400 yards in a 4 wide-one back offense. Why throw it? Raceland knows about LCA's balance.

:thumb: I agree 100%. Although Hayden has been the focal point in the LCA offense they do have other options to go to if the need arises. I have stated before that Whitt is a dandy QB and can beat you with his running ability as well as throwing the ball.

I'm certain we will see something from LCA that we haven't seen all year so the Ram defense must come prepared for everything. I am confident that the Rams coaching staff has them ready for the unexpected.

This game should be a good one. I hope all players play injury free.

I think they all do. Just have to cut down on penalties & mistakes, & not get rattled when LCA scores. Have to stick to the game plan & not get flustered.

Again, like you said, that works both ways. Raceland has been in one tight contest (Ashland), but the others have been blowouts after the second quarter. I think it will be a combination of both a chess match & a heavyweight fight.

You're to good Painter. Isn't is refreshing how the Bible always has a way of pertaining to everything. The Rams did wrong, and I hope they won't do it again. I know they have been taught.
