Congrats to these young men on a solid effort.

Buckett, I was very pleased to see the "air attack" and taking shots downfield. :thumb:

Keri throws the deep well and pretty consistant. ALso have 3 to 4 guys that can go get it.

There was a little bit of everything in this game. Circus catches by both teams. Interceptions that turned into fumbles, muffed punt receptions that resulted in turnovers, stripped balls deep in opponets area, missed FG with :07 for the win, near safety late in 4th for the win, It was a hard fought contest that was played clean for a cross town rival. You hate that there is a loser in a game like this. Best of luck to both teams.

Yes, it's a little harder to appreciate when your team loses, but this about sums it up. What a wild game fought to the end of regulation and into overtime. First overtime Frankfort has played in for at least 6 years I believe.

Way to bounce back FCHS! Hang tough and you'll do well.

The passing game for Frankfort is helping out tremendously when the run is getting stuffed. Great to see. Good game Panthers. Nothing to be ashamed of. There's always.. well next year.

The Panthers did fight but most of the second half life they had was from miscues by FCHS. County will need to sure up their ball handling and punt return.

It is strange we are talking about a passing game from FHS, and the run game of FCHS, is that a misprint??

Miscues are just a part of the game. Forced or unforced, both teams had a fair share of them.

Buckett, Like I said---great role model! Maybe you think kids from down south don't know what class is so they won't know the difference anyway. Got anymore excuses for his behavior on or off the field?

Drop Back, this is your second personal attack on Foley....The issues that you have with him should be addressed to him Mano y Mano, not on this site....:sssh:

I have to say I was impressed with Frankfort passing attack. Dwight keeps at it, He may be the 2nd player out of Frankfort to go D1. Maybe even UK!!! (wishful thinking).

Rule 13

How many players does Franklin County dress?

It looked to me like Franklin County just straight up got lucky in dodging this bullet. FHS had the game. The field goal at the end of regulation looked like it narrowly missed.

My hat is off to Frankfort High as they looked the better of the two teams on Friday. Pretty strong for a single A school to compete that well against a 4A school. Best of luck, and I wish continued success the rest of the season.

As for FCHS I was unimpressed. Way to many mental mistakes from my perspective. I know fumbles happen, but when you have a nice gain or make an interception, why fight for an extra yard while loosely holding on to the ball, only to have it stripped away for a turnover. Wrap it up and go down!!!!

FC's quarterback made some nice plays and I know there were a few dropped passes, but he looks a lot less confident this year with his reads than he did last season. He needs to buck up and get some confidence. Be a leader son!!!!!

And last, I thought there was a senior or two that needed to step up and show some leadership. Are you guys gonna go down as a bunch of weak sisters, or are you as a team gonna give 110% every play!!!

My perspective may be a little harsh, but that is just how I saw the game. I will continue to pull for you guys to the end. I know a win is a win, but I just think some of the posters are sugar coating where FC's team really is right now.
