The word in Ram Nation is that Abrams has an injured knee, is this true at all?

Can't believe that the thread is quiet with a quaterback change in the making. I'm curious, will starting a freshman quarterback give Ashland a better chance to win?

I really don't think it will make a difference either way. The young man would not be starting unless Coach Hart thought he could do the job and win.

The "word" came from a Russell football player. I'm a doctor and word travels in circles. I'm glad he is ok but word was out 2 days ago that he had injured his knee. Surely, your players wouldn't start a rumor????!!!!!

 I don't know if you are implyng anything here or not but I can assure that no one here was wanting the kid to be injured.

I can assure you that he is 100% primed and ready to go. The Russell player may have thought you were a double agent or just maybe someone else started the rumor. You have to watch those guys dressed in orange.

Not implying anything. The man said the word in Ram nation was that he was injured. There is only one Ram nation that I know of.

It is a difficult situation for an underclassman. The reaction of the other kid will determine the amount of success this team has the rest of the year.

:thumb: I was going on the way that you worded your post..."Sorry", he is 100%" sounded to me like you were saying that some here might be pleased if a kid was injured and you were saying "sorry to dissapoint".

I will take you at your word that was not the case. :thumb:

I am glad to hear the kid is fine, No One wants to see a h.s. kid injured.

I think you need a referral........... I didn't speak to a player! A player spoke to a Raceland player that he is friends with. So, if there is deception, it came from your area not "guys dressed in orange."

I have seen some very good Freshman players over the years. Very few but the ones that did play varsity football were good. Coach Hart, I'm sure has a very good handle on it. He can pull the kid out at any time and put the other back in. I have a feeling that Ashland just might see their starting QB for the next four years on the field tomorrow. I just hope the kid gets a fighting chance against the Russell Defense. Don't get me wrong I want Russell o win but I would love to see the kid do well.

I think the Hunter kid has a very high ceiling. He very well may be a fixture. The can't afford hurt feelings either.

He said she said. See how things get started. Did you ever think that just maybe someone might have embelished he story? A referral for what? Stopping Rumors.

I agree. All I'm trying to do is stop a rumor.

Back to the subject of the thread - is it just me, or is the poll a little bit closer than expected?

We're about to have exhausted this one and it's way off course.
