If I was on the jury, I would have zero problems going with a not guilty plea on any charges placed against the dad.

How would you justify it when the daughter says that she was a willing participant, took off her own clothes, and she inivited the boy over telling him to enter the house quietly so her dad wouldn't know?

You'd have to ignore the written law in order to not convict this guy.

And I would have zero problem doing that.

Why is it that a minor cannot enter into a written contract with someone but it is okay to do what you wrote above?

Let me say before I offend you, not arguing with you but posting a genuine question?

And I would have zero problem doing that.

Congratulations on ignoring not only the law of the land but your duty as a citizen.

I feel I have fulfilled my duty as a citizen.

How?

How?

I think it would be wrong for him to be convicted and found guilty.

Were does the written law say that a nude man can trespass in your house? I'm not argueing, but I would like an education on this law. Please provide some doucmentation as to where I can find this information.

It was his daughter's boyfriend, who had been coming over for nearly a year. I'm assuming he was invited over, so that's not trespassing.

I am shocked at some of the comments in this thread.

YOU don't get to make up your own laws. YOU have to judge based on the written law - not the "I'll take justice into my own hands" version. To do otherwise says that you don't have to follow rules of society.

Is that you?

I hope you do not get called to jury duty then.

For starters, the jury does not have anything to do with the plea. I'm assuming you mean verdict? Ignoring that though, it is not morals that are being evaluated here. The fact of the matter is this young man was chased and apparently struck with a metal pipe.

First, lets get the facts straight. Its not a "man" that's nude in the room with your daughter. Its a 14 year old boy.

I'd guess that its not against the law to be naked in someone else's house when you were a)invited in and b)your host is also naked.

However, lets act like it is illega for a second. So what? Its illegal for me to steal your mail. Does that give you the right to beat me with a pipe? Were you somehow threatened?

I hope you do not get called to jury duty then.

I did mean verdict.

I would LOVE to serve on jury duty.
