I am so sick of hearing about this... its a little different from me since I live in Georgia and hear all the Sports Talk Radio Shows take callers who just don't want to see this thing end....

 

Herbstreit was even on 680 The Fan this week and he was commenting how Georgia fans, and SEC fans, all think that ESPN hates them, but the fact is they talk about SEC teams more than any other conference. Georgia will get plenty of love once they stop playing Central Michigan and Georgia Southern and get to the SEC schedule, the fact is ESPN is going to focus on the biggest matchup of that week and Georgia hasn't been in that conversation yet.

 

Kentucky fans are just as bad as Georgia football fans for conspiracy theories when it comes basketball season. The fact is the best brand of basketball right now is the Big East and ACC, so they will get more air time. The one thign I have learned about Georgia fans is that they never "turn off", they want to hear about their team all the time, and if not their team, they want to hear the praises of the SEC. They have their ears wide open when anyone else is mentioned and seem to take offense to it.

I was impressed from the 1st view. When they showed the 2nd camera angle, I wasn't nearly as impressed. I didn't re-watch it, but it wasn't as cool as I had originally thought / hoped.

 

Still a cool play.

 

I'm a little surprised it didn't make Sportscenter, but we'll see it sooner or later when the Heisman gets a little closer...

It wasn't that great of a play.

They cut College Gameday coverage in order for there to be more air time for NFL Primetime so they could show more coverage of Brady's injury.

I thought it was a good play. I have seen them put worse on. I especially hate it when they have the top 10 plays and 5 of them are hockey plays. I get it...you slapped the puck and it went in....Yippeee! (it sounded more bitter in my head) haha

I'm with you. It's not like he turned it into a TD or anything. In fact, it probably made him go down earlier than he may have had he juked him or something.

What does me doing that have to do with anything? Anyways, I'm probably a little more athletic than you would assume, considering you know nothing about me other than my nickname on an Internet based message board. That being said, I still see nothing spectacular about this play. A good play, yes. A top 10 play on a college football Saturday, not.

I always cringe when guys jump like that. As an old safety that loved Ronnie Lott the 1st thing in my mind is catching him in the air and power slamming him! It's cool to see but that's a good way to get destroyed IMO.
