I didn't mean the title as that, but rather just keeping the part to the appearance of the original character.

I like Will Smith and think he would do a fine job, but I still would rather it stay with the comic book.

I really don't care but what do you think people would think if a white actor played the role of a black character?? Jesse Jackson would have a hissy fit and didn't Will Smith just make a movie about a superhero, Hancock? Which btw is a great movie.

Smith would be great. The role of the movie character and whom they are portraying, is what's really important and not the color of actors skin.

 

No different that a bald guy, playing the Hulk in the movie. No different than Lois Lane, being played by many. Just a movie, for entertainment and Smith, is a very good actor.

It all depends, for me, on how they do the origins. If they go with the WWII origins, then I prefer they keep it as it was however if they change it I could be fine with Will Smith for the role.

After hearing that and if Marvel is telling the truth, I'm very relieved. Captain America needs his own movie and putting Will Smith in that role would be a disaster. My views aren't based on race, although I don't believe any black man should play the role, but the role should go to a complete unknown.

It's from a French movie called Irreversible.

 

The movie is much like Memento, where the story is told backwards. The beginning of the film is actually the end, etc, etc.

 

The picture is from the most memorable scene in the movie, a scene that still bothers me to this day and I have a hard time sitting through. Without getting too graphic, let's just say the woman gets attacked by a man in an underground tunnel and you can imagine what happens next.

 

Once you get past the shocking opening scene and this tunnel scene, the film evolves into one heck of a movie with most of the scenes done in one shot. The ending is truly tragic because you know how the day is going to go for these characters.

Race plays no issue, I think the Fresh Prince would be a great CA.

On one hand, I originally thought that Will Smith would certainly do a good job- why should race exclude him?

 

On the other hand, say, Johnny Depp was brought in to play the title role in a Michael Jordan biography. Would anyone want to see it?

 

I guess it is different topics because MJ was a real person, but I don't know if it would be appropriate.
