The truth hurts and the truth, if given in the proper context is not a smear. If you are not bothered by Obama's shady mentors, associates, and friends, then vote for him. If you do not believe that the allegations that I have made are true, then challenge them on a factual basis. Just calling the truth a smear does not discredit it.

 

If you were not saying that it was true, I accept that and I retract the accusation that I made.

This was a funny gaffe whether you support Obama or not. Not quite as funny as the reporter who claimed that Obama was born to a black man from Kenya and a white man from Kansas, but still pretty funny.

Thanks for going back and taking time to read the thread after first making the false accusation. My words were apparently clear to everybody else. I have repeatedly and consistently said that I do not believe that Obama is a Muslim - and if I am wrong it does not matter.

 

There are so many reasons that Obama is wrong for this country that his religion is irrelevant to me. As I have before, a moderate Muslim would be more palatable to me than a follower of the racist, anti-American Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr.

C'mon guys to say a guy is a Christian because he celebrates Christmas is idiotic regardless of whether you are democrat or republican.

 

Obama is well schooled in the Muslim faith. As a matter of fact he is more well schooled in the Muslim faith than some of you are on Christianity. Having his daughters baptised or sitting in a church pew doesn't make you a Christian.

 

Not praying 5 times a day and not going to a Mosque doesn't mean you don't believe what Muslims believe.

My father was raised in the Catholic Church. I'm dating a woman that was raised as a Catholic and attended a Catholic high school.

 

Guess what? I'm not Catholic, and those connections don't make so any more than Obama's Muslim ties make him a closet Muslim.

You do know that if he is a true and faithful Muslim he would be praying 5 times a day and going to Mosque. Maybe it's you that need the primer on Islamic Faith. To the Muslim faith the prayer condition is not seen as optional. (Unlike many rules in many Christian circles)

Obama's only link to Christianity is Reverend Wright and his church which Obama attended for 20 years. Like I said I don't know what he is other than a great public speaker.
