I think Penn St. and Wisc. are better than advertised and Osu may not be as good as first thought. Osu will be lucky to win the conference. Personally I hope they lose 4-5 games.

Obviously SC killing the Buck's makes it seem as if the Pac 10 is ahead of the Big 10, but from top to bottom it's not.

Maybe 5th. They are a joke. How can they be that bad against good teams? Terrible. People hyping Wisconsin is a farce too. They wouldn't finish higher than 5th in the SEC either.

When ESPN gameday was at UK last Fall my favorite sign was, "Next on ESPN some lame Big Ten game."

Got to disagree with these statements. Michigan is down but PSU, OSU and Wisc are all top 10-15. All three may be top 10.

 

I agree maddxace, all 3 of those teams will be in major bowls at the end of the year!

Thats why Wisconsin has beaten the SEC in 2 of the last three bowl games and should of won last year. Most underrated program in America is Wisconsin. And yes OSU could compete for the SEC championship as well as Penn St. and Wisconsin. Not saying they would win it but would have a chance depending upon where games were played etc. College football has too much parity now to think one conference is so much better than the other.

I have never understood the obsession with how good or bad a conference is. I am a UK and Mich fan. I will NEVER root for anyone other than those two in their respective conferences. I don't see the big deal with how good the SEC is. If UK loses, I am mad. I could care less what anyone else does.

I don't want to judge why people do things, but it almost seems that people are reaching to have something good to brag about. I just don't get it.

Good point. The BCS has changed a lot about football. Some for the better, some not.

Please. OSU is my least favorite team but try to be objective. Just like someone said Wisonsin would be fifth in the SEC. They are 5 and 10 in the nation respectively but would only be 5th in the SEC:rolleyes:. According to some the top 12 is the SEC and every other team plays to be rated behind the SEC number 12.

 

Perhaps Wisconsin should be required to finish in the top 5 of the Big 10 first, before we start hyping them to be better than 5th in the SEC. 0-4 in a terrible conference.
