The Big Ten

Thats why Wisconsin has beaten the SEC in 2 of the last three bowl games and should of won last year. Most underrated program in America is Wisconsin. And yes OSU could compete for the SEC championship as well as Penn St. and Wisconsin. Not saying they would win it but would have a chance depending upon where games were played etc. College football has too much parity now to think one conference is so much better than the other.

In a one game scenario anything can happen, but OSU and Wisconsin wouldn't win the conference or have a shot at it. Every week you get tested in the SEC. OSU faces a test or two in the Big 10. Big, Big difference.

OSU would probably finish 3rd in the SEC East and 4th or 5th overall in the SEC.

Please. OSU is my least favorite team but try to be objective. Just like someone said Wisonsin would be fifth in the SEC. They are 5 and 10 in the nation respectively but would only be 5th in the SEC:rolleyes:. According to some the top 12 is the SEC and every other team plays to be rated behind the SEC number 12.

Disagree. IMO, it's the 3rd best of the big conferences. The SEC, and Big 12 are 1 and 2. It's better than the Big East and the ACC.

Where do you put the PAC 10? Both conferences are top heavy w/ the #1's battling this week. I don't see OSU hanging with USC.

I believe that 3rd in the SEC East is a pretty legit prediction. Do you honestly believe that OSU is better than either UGA or Florida?

Yes. I think UGA is for real but just do not see all the hype in Fla. They looked mediocre agaist a bad Miami team and if people forget they are coming off a 4 loss season that included a bowl loss to the Big 10

Miami may be bad, but what do you make of OSU's victory over Ohio??? Would you not agree that a 26-3 victory of the U is better than OSU's squeaker against Ohio?

Secondly, Henne had the game of his life vs. Florida in that bowl game. Do you truly believe that OSU could pass like that this year? I doubt it.

Third, had OSU played UT, UF, UGA, and either LSU or Auburn last year, they would have had at least 1 loss and more than likely 2. This year OSU is better, but so are the above listed teams, w/ the exception of LSU. Put OSU in the SEC East:

In Conference:

UT - Win

UF - Loss

UGA - Loss

USC- Win

UK - Murder

Vandy - Murder

We'll say also they play:

Auburn/LSU - Toss up

Ole Miss - win

Arkansas - Murder

and then they tour the state schools and win. That's at best 10-2, at worst 9-3. That's good for 3rd best in the East and possibly 4th overall.

10-2 won the SEC and the NC last year. The games you have as a for sure loss is not a for sure loss. Either team could win depending upon where they are playing game etc. As for the east you forgot to put murder USC also who is absolutely terrible. That makes half of the east terrible with UT mediocre at best. Which only proves the point I have been trying to make. The SEC is not that much better than the Big 10. Cannot believe I am taking up for the Buckeyes.

BTW: Michigan was just better than Fla. last year. Fla. was not very good and Michigan was hurt most of the year and way underachieved for the talent they had on that roster.

Nice rebuttal. Do you see this year's Ohio State, w/ it's very limited offense, winning the SEC east? I see them as a top 4 team in the SEC, but I just don't see the ability to put the ball in the end zone consistently, even with Wells.

We will find out a lot about the Big 10 Saturday night. Go Trojans!

Only finding out a little...

Don't be so hard on them. With the exception of the Buckeyes they are currently leading all the other games in the Big 10 / MAC challenge this week.

I literally laughed out loud when I read this.

Great stuff.

Got to disagree with these statements. Michigan is down but PSU, OSU and Wisc are all top 10-15. All three may be top 10.
Do you still believe this after this weekend?
