August 29, 200818 yr I tried doing a search to see if it had it's own thread but couldn't find one. Although I didn't enjoy the 4th one, I am excited about this 5th installment. I hope there are a lot of twists and it's a lot more creative. Here is the latest poster for the movie!
August 29, 200818 yr Didn't these people watch the 5, 6, 7th.. Freddy, Mike Meyers or Jason's? Gets cheezy and old.....
August 29, 200818 yr Author Why didn't you like 4? Well it really goes back to the end of the 3rd one for me..At the end of the 3rd one it ends with the guy playing "the game" to try and save his daughter, which leads me to believe he may have been another factor in the 4th one. Well it wasn't. i didn't mind the twists but I really didn't care for the ending that much, that was probably my least favorite of the franchise.
August 29, 200818 yr Author Didn't these people watch the 5, 6, 7th.. Freddy, Mike Meyers or Jason's? Gets cheezy and old..... This franchise is on a completely separate level than any of those horror icons.
August 29, 200818 yr Author When does it come out? I have seen 3 and 4, which I loved. Oct 24th, one week before Halloween. I can't wait to watch it, I just hope it takes things to a whole new level.
August 29, 200818 yr Author When they were filming this I remember reading that they used real traps and that the actors were actually afraid of using them, they had to do all kinds of tests on them to make sure they wouldn't malfunction or anything. They said the traps and everything in this installment take things to all new heights than in any of the other movies.
August 29, 200818 yr Didn't these people watch the 5, 6, 7th.. Freddy, Mike Meyers or Jason's? Gets cheezy and old..... I agree that those three series got old and cheezy... However I feel like the Saw franchise has done a good job at not doing that. I have enjoyed each of the Saw movies, and I'm sure I will enjoy this one.

I have enjoyed each of the Saw movies, and I'm sure I will enjoy this one. I agree as well. With the Saw movies, the person that's causing all of the fear is somewhat of a person of reason and some discretion. However we don't know what that is in the begining. Those other scary movies were just that, scary movies, they didn't call for much creativity, or following along with the actual stroyline.
September 1, 200818 yr I like the whole Saw series. Sure, I think some are better than others, but overall.......they really keep me guessing and I think they're quite good. Later.
September 1, 200818 yr You guys are right I mean they are still interesting unlike the other horror movies... but they are getting so far fetched with the twist just to keep it going it seems. But people keep watching and they keep making money, more power to them.

September 1, 200818 yr The poster is a red x? Seriously, I don't see a picture. Can anyone else see a picture? The tagline says "You won't believe how it ends" I'm going to take a wild guess how it ends, with a big time cliff hanger, because part VI is already in pre-production.
