How does this game shape up between two good teams in their respetive divisions?

I feel Manual will walk away with this one.

This game has alot more implications for Manual than it does Central.

It sounded like Manual looked okay in the Southern scrimmage, but I don't know how to gauge Southern's ability.

 

I want to go on the record as saying that Manual has to many holes to fill this season to make me believe that they are currently the #3 team in 6A. That doesn't mean I don't think they can get to that level but, I think at #3 in the beginning of this season that they are overrated. (I still love ya Rams)

I firmly believe that Manual can lose this game yet still be a major player in 6A as the squad gets more experience through the season.

 

Last season this was a very sluggish game where the heat seemed to take alot out of both teams. With better weather I expect a better game where we get to see the better sides of both squads.

 

This is a very tough match up for the Rams. Centrals defense will make running up the middle very difficult, they will have to find success spreading the ball on the right and left ends. One thing to watch this season is that Nichols is now calling the offensive plays. I don't know what to expect out of this arraignment as I always knew him as a defensive guy, so this will be interesting.

 

Defensively I expect Manual to be strong against the run, they need to show they can stop the pass.

This game is a toss-up, IMO. Both programs lost significant chunks of their teams from last year and neither has demonstrated that they can reload after a big loss of personnel.

 

I'll predict that Central suffers a bit from a championship hangover and falls to the Crimsons in an ugly 22-19 affair.

I think that Central clearly has the better team. Central by 10 or more.

This should be another close game like last year.They played twice in the summer at Males passing tour. and Central won the first game in the jamboree championship game.The next day Manual beat them. Central has a big and fast Defense and Manual has the SR. QB.
