From what I have seen over the last few years, Fooks @ Boone Co., Brooks @ Paris, and the lady who coaches @ Rockcastle Co. she really impressed me at a team camp @ Union College 3 years ago. Plus you can't take anything away from the guy who coached at Lex. Cath. and the whole Scott Co. staff.:thumb:

What defines "best".....best record, best players, best motivator, best dressed, best reputation, best player development, best ______???

 

This just seems too open ended everyone on BGP is going to list someone and then there are going to be over 100 "best coaches".

Trimble in the 16th. Though a some what drop in the talent level at Raceland this year will put him to the test.

Raceland only lost one player from last years District Championship team. I think they will be the favorite to win it again this year, the starting five are all back.

 

And, yes, Trimble is a quality coach.

There are tons of good coaches in the 10th region. I'll just leave it at that.

Peggy Moore, with what she is doing at Breathitt. Back to back trips to the show, and the players are only getting better. Before she is done at Breathitt she will have some great numbers.

That is right Ram, sorry about that, I keep thinking about the team from 2 years ago.

 

If Vanderhoof can stay healthy, they really have a good shot at the Region IMO.

Up and coming coach is Coach Oliverio at Ryle High School. She and her coaching staff are building a quality program and should be headed for the State Tournament within the next couple years.

Got to be the standard that any girl's coach is measured by. Simply look at the record. More than one reason why that gym has her name on it!
