Decent scrimmage. Overall, I would give the Birds a B+. Really concerned about the unability of the center to get the QB's the football. If the ball doesnt go the Birds dont go.

I saw the football roll back to the quarterback a few times!!!! It's hard enough to play the position and know what's going on around you. It's even tougher to start each play with the ball at your ankles.

Most important part of the offense IMO. The exchange has to be there or nothing happens. Thats why its a scrimmage. Its a little different when you have an opposing teamate lined up on you in practice then having an opponent I am sure.

The other thing that baffles me and I'm sure someone will have a great explaination for it. Why does Highlands run a rollout pass to the short side of the field. When I say short side of the field, I mean the ball is line up on the hash when they do it. It never works!!!! atleast for Highlands it never works. Just a armchair Quarterback sitting here wondering why!!!!!!:confused: Someone please tell me the good when they do this.

I would guess that every now and then you try to run a play that your opponent does not expect you to run based on the situation...

No!!!!! it just drives me crazy when they do. It's no big deal, they come back the next play and run for a score. Just being an armchair QB. I'm allowed:D
