If the Cubs were fortunate enough to get to the NLCS and lost to Florida again, I might just consider giving up sports for 10 years. Completely and totally stop following any/all sports related activities.

Could be. You have to like what Neal Huntington is doing with the Pirates. It seemed like every third player in the Triple A All-Star game was a Pirate.
