October 26, 201213 yr If its "go time" never wait for the other guy to throw the first punch. Learned that one the hard way down at Dickmans one night but he learned a lesson as well; just because a guy doesn't want to fight doesn't mean he can't. I never use a ring tone, my phone stays on silent or vibrate.
October 26, 201213 yr If its "go time" never wait for the other guy to throw the first punch. If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull.. One of my favorites when talking to someone I don't know very well are false facts, "Did you know Jesus was left handed"...... I love it when I get the response, "I do now"
October 26, 201213 yr 3. Never fight a guy who used to wrestle in high school. I've always wondered why you were nice to me.
October 26, 201213 yr Rules I live by are: You play the game, you pay the price. Beggars can't be choosers. The Golden Rule. Never worry about things you have no control over.
October 26, 201213 yr If I may add one very important one.... NEVER forgo an opportunity to pee! Ah yes, the older I get the more this comes into play. Cause when Mother Nature calls, don't put her on hold!
October 26, 201213 yr So you're working on figuring out teleportation too?????? No...I'm leaving that to Leonard & Shelton. But, I firmly believe that nothing is impossible. Some things are improbably, but never impossible. Heck, if I'd listened to everyone who told me it was impossible I could do something, I'd not be where I am today.

October 29, 201213 yr I was at a restaurant around town last week. Had to wait like a lot of others so we all had that buzzer so they could alert us. While going to my table I see a person I know through our kids but not someone I've had a lot of conversations with. More of "hey how's it going" type of acquaintance. He, too, was waiting so he had that square buzzer in his right hand. Picture him palming it if you will. I stick my hand out while I'm saying "hey how's it going." Instead of him transferring the buzzer to his left hand so he could shake he sticks out the right hand (with the buzzer still in it) and extends HIS PINKIE to me. I shook his darn pinkie. Strangest handshake ever. He was looking for the old pinkie promise!
October 29, 201213 yr For a man to have a long and happy marriage, he just needs to remember to say "Yes Dear"
October 31, 201213 yr Author Saw a guy today in STL that made me think of this thread. A dude never sits with one leg tucked up under the other.
