While its a small sample size, how many of the folks in this thread do you believe had intercourse in high school? At least 50%?

I know that my little brother has at least had oral sex, because I spoke to him on the phone and answered questions after wards. My brother mingles around all crowds(at least I think he does).

 

All I am trying to say LBBC coach, is that it is not the end of the world is a teenager has sex. Its nothing to feel guilty over or be worry yourself about. If the school has taught all the angles, then they know that abstinence is 100% preventive, and that other steps can be taken if you choose to have sex. I think by making pre-marital sex or teen sex such a taboo issue, that you actually encourage the behavior.

 

I can understand what you are saying but I think as adults our words have power to a teenager.

 

And when you post on a forum, in which teenagers are a part of, that teenagers are going to have sex, that carries more weight than you realize.

 

And we forget at times that this forum is full of teenagers reading and posting and listening to what we have to say on issues.

 

I hear them talking about so and so poster, posting so and so on BGP in the hallways and the classes.

I would guess everyone but LBBC he said he didn't thats why I say that. so way more than 50%.

I deal with them on a pretty regular basis.

Maybe you and your friends did, but I've never lied, and I'm quite certain my friends werent either, I wasn't there in the presence of them having sex, but these girls arent as innocent as you think they are. There were a couple of girls I slept with in high school that said we didn't. So what you're saying is it's not possible that any girls lie for the sake of not looking "easy"? Get real, girls are just as likely to lie about NOT having when they really did, as guys are to lie about having done it. But I guess all girls are angels, get real, I've seen more than my fair share of crazy lying girls:lol:

I think it is good that we all know what is being said when the term sex or sexual activity is used and we are not debating because of a misunderstanding.

Its not my responsibility to make sure my actions conform to a moral code I don't believe in. I will say this to all teens who are reading this.

 

Abstinence is a great method to 100% prevent STD's or Pregnancy. But if you cannot wait to have sex, please use some sort of Condom, Birth Control, Diaphragm, or spermicide.

I applaud the people that make it out of HS abstinent. Many many many people wish they didn't make some of the mistakes they did. I am not trying to promote it or say its the cool thing to do just its the reality of what is going on now days and I think it is because it isn't being taught right.

I have always believed that if the boy and girl are both true virgins, then their first time they have intercourse might be enough to turn them off of it for awhile.

Some of the people you would have no clue about but from the sample size that I know of my % is pretty accurate IMO.

Ohh, I think I'd have a pretty good idea, and your number does sound pretty close, I'd even venture to say a little low.
