July 25, 200818 yr .269 .395 .493 in July... SO his last 19 games justify him being locked in the # hole the entire season? Dusty doesn't seem to be one that plays the "hot hand" so I don't think his last 19 have had any impact on where Dusty bats him.
July 25, 200818 yr I know I sound like a broken record but how bad does Griffey have to hit to get moved to the 7 hole? Griffey has a 7 game hitting streak currently. It amazes me that some teams do not put the shift on Junior. It also is amazing to me that Junior refuses to bunt when the shift is on.

July 25, 200818 yr I have considered leading Brandon Phillips off. He has the speed and hits for a decent average. He also loves to be aggressive at the plate so he may be able to get a good pitch early; however, that's not typically the role of the leadoff hitter. I'd like to see a lineup like this: Brandon Phillips - 2B Keppinger - SS Votto - 1B Dunn - LF Edwin - 3B Griffey - RF Bruce - CF Ross - C Pitcher I'd be willing to flip / flop Keppy & BPhil.
