Also there is no reference to Mary Magdalene being a prostitute, she was deemed so by the early Catholic church.

 

It says she had 7 demons or something like that, doesn't it?

It isn't a change in scripture. In scripture there is no reference to what she is, so she could be or she could not be a prostitute.

I believe you are. I think historians can narrow it down to within a couple of years but I think the exact day or year is unknown.

I wouldnt mention that, We already have Catholics and Protestants fighting, do we really need infighting within the Protestants.

I just want to search for the truth with an open mind. Not fighting, just trying to discern what is actually in the bible and what is not.

I saw no fighting. I saw an open discussion. I didn't even see anyone call you out for calling the Protestants "heretics".

The bible tells us to go into all the world and spread the gospel. It doesn't say specifically how to spread the gospel. It just says to spread the gospel. I am trying to spread God's word through the internet.

 

In some areas God gives us general commandments. In others, such as appointing elders, order in church worship, etc. he is very specific.

That is a tough one. I would tend to think that was a cultural issue that Paul directed to that specific church because those women were more concerned with their apperance than their attitude in the worship service in Corinth. I'm not exactly sure though. Thoughts?

Yep. Remember, in Acts, Paul had to rebuke the First Pope, Peter, because Peter was not being the Christian he was supposed to be.

If we assume that all of your scripture is inspired by your god, then we assume that it was perfect and right the first time. Why add, takeaway, or clarify perfection?
