Jury Duty

Featured Replies

Is my name at the top of the list? I've been summoned 5 or 6 times in the last 10 years. I just got another notice today in the mail. :irked:

How many times have you been summoned?

4 times for state, 1 time for federal. I get kicked off of every jury, because of my line of work, it is truly a wast of time for me

My son just got selected for jury duty. He's 23 and I don't think he's ever actually voted. In my +30 years of voting in Kenton County, I've never been selected.

They go by license, not voter registration.

I have never been selected either in my 25+ eligible years........and here's hoping it stays that way.

I haven't been selected since moving back to NKY. I did once while living out of state and got excused. Two people in my house have been called, but the employers would not pay their salary while gone. Have you ever heard of that?

I guess in the last 17 years I've been selected 4-5 times. And I (like others have mentioned) would always be excluded due to my profession.

I've met SO MANY people that have never been selected . . . I just wish there was a limit to the number of times your name could be chosen in a lifetime!!! That would spread the enjoyment of conducting your civic duty to a wider population!! :thumb:

There could be a reason :sssh:

I've been selected once for jury duty, but my number was never called to serve on an actual jury.

I wasn't on one until 4 years ago. Since then, I've been on 3. Two state , and one federal. I prefer the federal since they pay much better, although trials will more likely be boring.

None for me..Clapping.gif

Which means you'll be getting your notice any day now.;)

I've been called once, didn't end up doing anything really.

I forgot to mention . . . I'm serving on jury duty RIGHT NOW.
