Louisville BGP Outing--Tent 8/15

My vote is still the St. Matthew's route. I certainly am not against seeing the Xaverians and the Creek going at it....but St. Matthew's is a much nicer neck of the woods, with a much better watering holes close by.

Very true regarding the pubs in St.Matthew's, keep in mind that Brendan's gets absolutly packed from around 11:00pm on.

Not that anyone cares, but I'm out. Seems the home town team has a little scrimmage of our own vs Beechwood. Would love to meet some of the Ville preppers, but not at the expense of missing the Birds play (attempt to shame BF and RTS).

I'll probably be at the scrimmage with you; but my heart might be somewhere else. I hate to miss a BGP event. ;)

I'm probably in if this happens, too. Never been to a Rocks game.

I thought about that....that's why I think we should go to Brendan's for a couple, and then go next door to BBC.

Even though this one is just a scrimmage, we take them very seriously, and for anyone else who hasn't seen us, or St. X for that matter play, it is weird if you would. You sometimes would not be overly impressed by much that you see, except the uniformity of our team, and how methodical we are in everything we do. Then you look at the scoreboard, and you're like "huh"...that was crazy...that has happened, probably 50 times for me under Beatty....

Just went to Fox and Hound tonight for the first time...That's a cool place, really crowded though. Lots of eye candy. :D

I couldn't make the 15th anyway, I have to go to a 50th birthday party.

They need to upgrade the TV sets.

^ yeah....not a big fan. I like the Louisville Originals a bit better.

I totally agree with this.

We were going to come down for the weekend, but I don't know if we can do a Friday.

My vote is still for Saturday but my schedule is flexible so I'll just go with the majority...

Beer? St. Matthews? BGP?

Phenomenal idea.

We are looking into making a weekend trip out of it. I have family that lives in Louisville, so we will have places to crash.
