Exactly. If he had made that same speech before the UAW, Teamsters, UMW, AFL-CIO, etc. he wouldn't have left alive. And union workers are devoutly Democrat.

Terrorize means to evoke terror. Is ICE doing any of the things that Obama said to LEGAL aliens and citizens?

Yes, really. It is semantics. And hyperbole. And both are quite typical in political discourse. And unfortunately, in modern English usage. It would be no different than me saying, "It really just kills me that Sen. Obama said the ICE was terrorizing people."

 

And the verb terrorize isn't really exclusive to the noun terrorist.

I've heard it discussed quite often on NPR, and read about it in several magazine and newspapers over the last couple of years. It was also discussed in the U.S. Senate just last month. As to links, I would suggest you just look into it for yourself. :thumb:

If you disagree with the law than I guess you would have to say yes. It is perfectly with in his place as a presidential candidate to disagree with current law, being we live in a democracy it is perfectly justified to speak out against any law that we disagree with. WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE LAW, but you don't have to like it and are given the freedom to express our displeasure with it and our displeasure with the way it is implemented.
