July 11, 200818 yr Andruw didn't get there till 96 but I enjoyed the 95 team the most..Followed behind the 99 98 team.

July 11, 200818 yr Dynasty??? :lol: That's what I was thinking. Every Braves fan always asks me why I dislike them so much and I always come with the same answer. I just find it hard to like a team that gets 14 out of 15 chances in a row to win Championships (in an eight team playoff), and only walks away with one, and only makes it to the World Series three times in the same span (4 team playoff). I do not know why it is, but for some reason I just can't stand the Braves and I think their inability to get it done with the teams they have had plays a big part in it. I always tell every Braves fan that my Cubies haven't won a WS in a century, but give them 14 out of 15 tries in a row and I guarantee they walk away with more than one.:thumb:

July 11, 200818 yr Man I vaguely remember the 91 world series but I loved when Jack Morris faced off against John Smoltz and it was great even though they lost.
July 11, 200818 yr Look, I get the criticism of the Braves not getting it done in the postseason, and it's totally valid. They had years where they won 100+ and didn't even win in the NLDS. But I mean seriously, would fans of other teams rather watch their team do terrible only to rise from the ashes for one year and win their division or league and then go right back in the gutter? I'm sure the Marlins fans (however many there are) loved their two World Series titles. I'm not certain that as a fan I'd consider it too worth it to watch how horrible they were in almost every other year. They have losing records in 11 of their 16 seasons. Would you Reds fans truly rather have your one postseason appearance since 1990 than at least have a shot at it, no matter how disappointing it is when the team underachieves in the postseason?
