Louisville voted America's most livable city

The U.S. Conference of Mayors has awarded Louisville first place in its annual City Livability Award competition.

 

Louisville won in the large-city category, beating out such competitors as Las Vegas, Seattle and Orlando.

 

Mayor Jerry Abramson will accept the award at the conference’s annual convention this weekend in Miami.

 

 

This is for all the "haters".

I would never live in Vegas or Seattle. Orlando's a little too touristy for me. So yeah, I guess I could see how Louisville wins.

What I like best about Louisville is the culture, the price, the accessibility, and the variety.

 

I left at one point of my life and then I came back, and I'm happy I did.

I think it's a cool city too. If I ever moved, that would be high on the list. The only problem I would have is that I always feel lost down there on the roads.
