True blue (and gold)
I have a great deal of respect for John McCain ... more so than some others on his side of the aisle. :thumb:
cch5432
Not me ... not at all. It would be nice to have someone making decisions involving the military that actually has an idea of the consequences. I know of at least one or two "regulars" on the P&R forum that might get upset. Not me, though. I just figured a few of those who said they would like Powell did not know this (since I never did). I did not anticipate it to bother either of you. ram2003
Oooh, ooh, I want to change my vote. James Earl Jones. If that man, with the right writers, can't convince leaders around the world of anything and everything, I don't know who could.

GO CATS
Don't be terribly surprised to see Romney as McCain's running mate. Michigan is a key state. I think that is McCains best bet!

oldrambler
I have a great deal of respect for John McCain ... more so than some others on his side of the aisle. :thumb: I also have a world of respect for the man, I don't see how anyone couldn't. To me he is an American hero. I will say that I am not sure what kind of president he would be and I question some of his ideas. When it comes to character and class, there is no comparison between him and Obama. ("class" to me means much more than being able to make a good speech full of promises that one has no way or intention of fufilling) JMO.
