I am very pleased with the outcome of this game. The Lakers were taken out to the woodshed and the Celtics are back on top. I'm happy for Rondo and its good to see K.G. finally get his ring. Speaking of K.G., did anyone see his postgame interview? I still don't know what he was talking about. I guess he always has the excuse that he didn't go to college.:thumb:

I was a huge Celtic fan back in the day (Bird, McHale,Parrish, Ainge, etc..) as well as ( Havlicheck, Russell, Cowen, White,) Red Auerbach and many more that I am no doubt forgetting. I fully admit that I haven't been posting much if any on them in the last few years. I haven't been posting on any NBA in the last several years. This Celtic team kind of reminds me of ones from years past in where they are a "TEAM" first and played "DEFENSE".

People can call me bandwagon if they want. I was a Celtic fan back when I was following the NBA from the late 60's through the 80's. I just lost interest in the NBA as a whole for quite few years, was sick of the "thugs" all over the league.

When I watch the NBA now it is the Celtics (favorite) or the Pistons (Tay Prince). Should that be bandwagon then so be it. :thumb:

Well I just wanted to point out that it is wrong.

Hmmm, I believe it was the 2003-2004 season in which Prince helped the Pistons beat LA.

 

Now it's Rondo.

 

Prince was in his 2nd year in the NBA and so was Rondo, both have championship rings and both came against LA...What a god feeling if you like UK and dislike LA..:lol:

I thought it was a very good series..

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the first 5 games decided by 10pts or less? I think that alone made it a very close series.
