Not really...only one team gets that title of "Champions". Boston is the Champs this year. Everyone else lost...they are losers. Including the Spurs.

 

And its better to actually have had the opportunity to be the champs than watch it from home... :sleep:

I could care less either way but the Lakers still get to say that they're the best in the Western conference and that's something the Spurs can't do.

Um...losing is still losing. It doesn't matter if it's the first round or in the finals. That's how I see it anyways.

Are you saying there is no difference in losing in the NBA finals and missing the playoffs?

I never said that at all. I'm saying that while the Lakers have a Western Conference Championship, they're still just the top loser of the group.
