Top 5 teams in the 13th region next year?

Was Zach the tall slender kid with dark hair and a mustache? I remember him if so from when they played Corbin. He was a hard worker and glad to see him get to continue his career at Berea. If his brother plays like Zach, the Tigers have a nice addition.

Yea that was Zach. His brother doesn't play as hard as him and can't play as long as Zach. But I bet the coach at Clay can get the potential out of him. This kid will be a great help to Clay.

Summer ball has been quiet. Does anyone have updates on progress or setbacks happening during summer games and practices?

You have to put M'boro over Knox an Harlan Co. to start the season. They have the second most talent in the region behind Corbin.

As long as MBORO keeps the same coaching they will continue to be a team with great talent that finishes in the middle of the pack in the 13th. I've never seen a bigger waste of talent than MBORO in the last 5-6 years. With all the talent I don't think they have even made it out of the District tourney.

321, don't beat around the bush. If you have something to say, just say it! lol

Middlesboro has only had three winning seasons since 1990. I think the guys they have now have made progress. They improved by four games last year, and I pick the Jackets to win 17 or 18 next year and the regional All "A" Classic.

After seeing North Laurel this week, I'd have a hard time ranking them any lower than eighth.

Did they look good?

How good is Seidel (sp)? Didn't he lead the region in scoring?

Seidel is one of the top, if not the top, scorers in the region. He's a lefty that can play. He's getting better defeisvely and I believe he was one of the top three scorers this past season.

Seidel was out of town, but North still looked pretty competitive. They had a good JV team last year, and that's basically this year's team with the addition of Seidel and Wardrup.

Seidel is a nice player. If he gets stronger it will really help him. I really like him and Madison Johnson from Corbin!

Breaking news in South Laurel. Big time transfer from another local 13th region team. He will make South a State Championship contender.
