June 10, 200818 yr I just finished watching Batman Begins for the first time (I have never been a huge Batman fan) and it honestly kinda got me a little more excited for when the Dark Knight comes to theatres. Are the two movies somewhat tied together? Or does it just seem that way? I figured they were because of the way Batman Begins ends and also many of the characters are the same. Lastly, another reason I am rather excited to watch it...is well, I have been a big Heath Ledger fan for quite some time and even if I wasn't intrigued by the movie I am one of those people who would go simply to watch his last perfromance (R.I.P.) Might be the best movie of the summer.
June 10, 200818 yr I am very pumped for this movie. I am not a huge Batman fan either but this movie is expected to be awesome. The way they have marketed it is just phenomenal. Christian Bale is a great actor and I am wanting to see Ledger's last performance, it will be the biggest movie of the summer IMO.

He was brilliant in The Prestige...but I don't wanna change topics. Are there people out there who would simply go to this movie because it was Heath Ledger's last performance? Because I honestly felt that way, before I watch Batman Begins today.

I haven't talked to anyone that was seeing it because of his last performance but I would assume there will be many that will.
June 10, 200818 yr I really liked Batman Begins and have looked forward to the release of the second one. I hope it will be as good as it looks.
June 10, 200818 yr Author I really liked Batman Begins and have looked forward to the release of the second one. I hope it will be as good as it looks. So I guess the Dark Knight would be considered a sequel?
June 10, 200818 yr So I guess the Dark Knight would be considered a sequel? More like a continuation.
June 10, 200818 yr Author More like a continuation. Yeah...that's what I figured. I had also heard a potential rumor that Heath Ledger is the main joker, but others also played the joker in this film to show different aspect of his twisted psychotic personaility. Any else heard that or have any truth to it?
June 10, 200818 yr Author July 18th Here's a trailer... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/trailers-screenplay-vi2313552153

June 10, 200818 yr A little forshadowing by Harvey Dent? "You either die a hero or see yourself become the villain" Looking forward to this movie BUT as a comic book purist I can't get excited about the Joker makeup that Ledger is wearing.
