May 28, 200818 yr Actually the Spurs were lucky to even have that last opportunity. That shot by Fisher grazed the rim and you know it. The Spurs should have had to foul the Lakers with 5 seconds left because of a fresh 24 second shot clock. If anything the Lakers got screwed but still won the game. And as for Manu, I think what I said before the series has come true. 7 points tonight and even Parker said he looked fine to him. I said after last game don't let this game make everyone think Manu is all world and I was right. Thats now 6 times in 7 games he has failed to score more than 14 points. I think it's safe to assume this series is pretty much over. And as for the Spurs being so dominant at home like you said, well looks like the Lakers are the only undefeated team left at home. Okay. I said I'm not arguing anymore and I'm sticking with that. Congrats.

Just trying to make you realize you should give the other team a little more credit next time. All this "Defending champ, all mighty spurs" talk before the series and here they are down 3-1. Hate to say it but the Spurs experience doesn't mean that much against this Lakers team. I said before this series Kobe WOULD be the reason the Lakers won this series and I think tonight proved it. No way Kobe lets this opportunity slip away in his first chance to get back to the finals since the SHaq era.

Kobe took 20 shots last night and went to the foul line ZERO times. Anyone who watched the game definetly saw Kobe get hacked quite a few times and no foul get called. Spurs shot 26 foul shots on the other hand.

Any other "big name player" would have jumped into Fisher while he was in the air, instead of backing up, and trying to dribble around him. That's why there was no foul called, Barry tried to get away from it....

It's amazing...they get every call for the 3+ quarters (they shot 26 free throws through the first 3 quarters, while Kobe Bryant attempted 29 shots and scored roughly half his points in the paint and didn't shoot a single free throw)...and yet they whine and complain about one call at the end of the game. A no-call that everyone agreed with...even the Spurs themselves from Pop to Duncan to Brent Barry himself... But, to quote a Spurs fan from earlier... From Post #128 of the orginal "Spurs vs. Lakers - Western Conference Finals" thread... I have never seen so many people whine about a little contact.
