May 28, 200818 yr He was forced to throw up a bad shot, because of the foul. If he hadn't been fouled he could have stepped right past Fisher, because Fisher was in the air. Awful no call... I think he might have gotten the call if he had simply went straight up and took the shot. Instead he lowered his shoulder and ran under Fisher. I'm not saying it wasn't a foul but I think when he tried to dribble through him they gave Fisher the benefit of the doubt. Nice comeback by the Spurs in the last couple of minutes.

I'd like to have those two free throws with one of the best shooters on the team at the line.

May 28, 200818 yr Like I said it all evens out. Lakers lead the series 3-1... On to LA. Those plays didn't cause the Lakers to lose. That single play, in the end, is a major reason that the Spurs lost. Brent Barry should have gotten the opportunity to shoot free throws. If that is Kobe Bryant in that same situation, everyone here would be throwing a fit. If you deny that you are lying to yourself.

Like I said I'm not saying it wasn't a foul but when he lowered his shoulder and ran into Fisher it looked like it made the refs think that there wouldn't have been any contact without Berry causing it. Not saying it was right, if he goes straight up and shoots and Fisher comes down on him he probably gets the call.
